After i load the popsloader and selected 6.35 the screen just stays blank.and for some other reason my Marvel Capcom vs street fighter eboot.pbp doesnt requires any popsloader to function = any idea why? I've found that v4f works much better than v4e on my 1g,2g, & 3g.
I don't have a GO so I can't tell you how that compares. By the way, your GO can't be a 3g, Go's only came with a 5g module. To answer you question about why you don't actually need popsloader to boot your Marvel capcom vs street fighter: Most PSX eboots don't actually have to have popsloader. They just boot from the pops you already have on your flash.

Some games do require the older pops & some just run better or have better options in the older pops versions. Warfaren wrote:Well how come the guy I quoted managed to get it working then? Besides, the old popsloader only supports up to 4.01 pops and pops in flash (5.00 obviously) and all those versions don't work very well with the games I've been trying to play. So this is why I wanna use this popsloader instead. If you don't mind me asking, what games are you trying to play that aren't working with 5.00 M33-6 pops. Someone here might be able to help with that. And have you given any thought to maybe upgrading to at least 6.20 Pro B-10?
I currently run that with the perma patch and I am just using the built in popsloader. Now, while I don't have every ps1 game, the ones I do have including all the Resident Evils and Mortal Kombat Trilogy work flawlessly. When I upgraded I had to remake some of my Eboots, which isn't a big deal, because one thing I found out was for 6.XX Pro, you had to use the actual game id not an import one for it to work.
I also use a couple different programs like psx2psp, Impaler, Zingaburga popstation gui and last but not least RSGuiPopstationMD because when one wouldn't work another one would. Well anyway, give it some thought. I am sure someone here can help you. Warfaren wrote:Well how come the guy I quoted managed to get it working then? I am sure someone here can help you. The game I've been having most trouble with would be Chrono Cross. From what I've read online people recommend you to run it on 6.60 pops to work well, which is how I got here. But I suppose if there's another fix that would be cool too. The reason I have not updated my CFW is that I really like M33, it's a great shame that Dark-Alex is gone.

Well what I thought was if none of the new plugins (like this popsloader for example) work with M33 firmware, then all the cool plugins that I have for M33 will probably not work with whatever I upgrade to:/ I know a lot of plugins have been updated in later years, but not all of them unfortunately. Maybe it's time to leave all those awesome plugins behind though, or perhaps you can set up some kind of dual boot like, with Time Machine? But then again, there's this guy who posted earlier in this thread who said he got it working on 5.00 M33-6. That's what really drives me right now. I hope for him to log on again and see this. Anyways, thanks a lot for the help so far! Ok, I thought you might be having problems with a hard one, lol.
First a few tips. The term 'iso' is generic. Meaning different programs rip discs to different formats. Ie; ISO Buster which I use first ) makes.bin/.cue files. Then if it fails to read or whatever I use Ultra ISO which makes.img/.ccd/.sub files. This matters because 'In My Experience' PSX2PSP 1.4.2 does better with.bin files and Impaler PSXEboot Creator does better with.img files. That being said, what I did was find my Chrono Cross discs, been awhile for this game.
I ripped them with Ultra ISO, used Impaler PSXEboot creator using the original game ID SLUS-01041 and both discs into one EBOOT. And placed the resulting 'Chrono Cross' folder into PSP GAME folder. Go to Game on XMB, press the R paddle when running game. When selection screen for popsloader comes up select 3.80 pops and play your game.
Hope this helps. If you have trouble or get stuck on anything just PM me.EDIT. Forgot to add I tested this on my PSP1001 5.00 M33-6.
